Kyalami Corner Shopping Centre opens for trading, with three drive thru’s.

Strategically positioned close to the Kyalami Race Track, at the busy intersection of the Kyalami main road and the R55 from Lonehill/Bryanston, Kyalami Corner offers easy access and ample free parking in this trendsetting precinct.

The design of the buildings, which are located on the fringes of the equestrian zone, takes inspiration from surrounding environment. The architects, Stauch Vorster Architects International, have gone to great lengths to ensure that the 28 000 m² centre’s design not only reflects the character of the area, but also incorporates the latest sustainable and energy sufficient practices. The use of natural materials such as wood, natural stone, corrugated metals and indigenous plants emphasise the architectural theme throughout.

Careful consideration has been given to the tenant mix to encourage shoppers to visit often and enjoy spending time at the centre.

Kyalami corner will be anchored by a 3 300 m² Woolworths food, one of the largest in the country, as well as a 3500 m² Checkers store and a 3100 m² Virgin Active gym. Foodies will also enjoy a variety of gourmet delights, including BBQ Workshop, The Diner, Piza e Vino, Ginger Boy, Bunny Chow, Salsa Mexican Grill, Hello Tomato and a free-standing The Baron, with a large kids play area as well as the unique destination store, Jacksons Real Food Deli. Clicks and MICA add to the variety and the convenience. There will be three drive thru’s. (McDonalds, Nando’s and Burger King) to offer food on the go.

The retail component forms part of a larger precinct development that could in future also offer a medical care facility and premium A grade offices.
