The Ivory Park police are looking for assistance in solving three deaths after two men and a woman were found dead.

A woman was found dead with stab wounds at Clayville on 3 January while a man, also with stab wounds, was found dead near Themba Khoza informal settlement on New Year’s Day. The second man’s body was found floating in a river at Tswelopele on 4 January.

Police have opened two cases of murder. “An inquest has been opened for the victim of drowning.

The lady, who is in her 20s had her hair dyed blonde, and was wearing a green T-shirt and blue shorts,” said spokesperson for Ivory Park Police Station Captain Bernard Matimulane.

The Station Commander of the Ivory Park Police Station, Brigadier David Ngcobo, is appealing to anyone with information to come forward, or any person whose loved one is missing, to contact the Ivory Park police on 011 990 9600.

“We believe that any piece of information we may gather regarding these unknown victims may assist us in finding out who they are, who they were with and where and, maybe, assist us in establishing how they died.”
