The MMC for Public Safety, Michael Sun, has said the Johannesburg Metro police are aware of land invasion in the Blue Hills area.

In a tweet, Sun said, “JMPD is attending to it. We believe that the land in question is privately owned and we are requesting that the owners urgently contact SAPS or JMPD (011 375 5911). Further update will follow.”

Many have taken to social media platforms and community chat groups to speak about the invasion.
